LOUTH OLD MILL RIFLE CLUB

The  Committee is pleased to report that a successful application has been made to the Home Office to allow the use of full and

small-bore rifles and black-power firearms on the range.

However, it is anticipated that the range will be closed for periods, until the end of August, to allow for the current improvement

works to be completed.

Please remember to check all lights are switched off

before leaving the club house.

High Muzzle Energy firearms and

Shooter competent certification

Additional restriction have been introduced that will affect ALL shooters on MoD ranges (including Bisley). With immediate effect, a new 200 yard zeroing restriction is required for firearms with a muzzle energy greater than 4500J.

ALSO

Please remember, that since the 1st January 2009, ALL shooters on MoD ranges (which, again, includes Bisley) will need to carry a card showing that they have been certified as being safe and competent in the relevant firearm type they wish to use.
